KHLÔROS

HAUVETTE & MADANI, Paris
April 1 – May 30, 2025

In the showroom of Hauvette & Madini, and by invitation of Catherine Gheysen, founder of A Women’s Art Association, Clara Darrason is pleased to present 'KHLÔROS,' a collective exhibition featuring artists Jessica Boubetra & Jean-Baptiste Lenglet, Julia Gault, Gwendolyn Kerber, Lucie Picandet, and Darta Sidere.

Derived from Ancient Greek, Khlôros means "green" and forms the root of the word chlorophyll. This term evokes the energy of a soft, spring-like green, heralding germination. The intelligence and uniqueness of craftsmanship meet animal wax, aquatic plants, and industrial technology. Whether through the agency of the materials used or the reflection on the contemporary representation of the landscape, a hybrid vital movement runs through the works of KHLÔROS, and opens up shifting spaces for projection and reflection, working towards the emergence of an order that is inevitably attentive and inclusive of other forms of life.
